This custom 1967 Ford Mustang fastback is powered by a 521ci Ford
Racing big-block Ford V-8 engine with aluminum heads, intake and
1050cfm Proform carburetor, producing 479hp and 510 lb-ft of torque
measured at the rear wheels, paired with a Tremec TKX five-speed
manual transmission and Currie 9-inch rear end. The chassis
features full Ridetech tubular suspension with coilovers and a
four-link rear setup, along with frame ties and a mini-tubbed
configuration. It is fitted with Shelby-branded Baer six-piston
14-inch front disc brakes and Baer two-piston rear disc brakes,
both color-matched to the car, along with drilled and slotted
rotors, a Hurst line lock system and a dual H-pipe exhaust with
Flowmaster mufflers. The exterior includes fresh PPG PR4 Flame Red
paint applied to the body and engine bay with a three-coat base and
four-coat clear process, powder-coated satin black bumpers and trim
pieces, a refinished undercarriage in black paint, custom front and
rear valances, a custom grille with integrated driving lights,
GT500-style side vents, a Shelby-style fiberglass hood with steel
frame and LED headlights. It rides on Rushforth 18-inch forged
wheels with Falken Azenis RT615K tires measuring 245/40ZR18 in the
front and 315/30ZR18 in the rear. The interior features TMI custom
door panels and dash with red stitching and Alcantara accents, a
TMI rear fold-down seat, bolstered front bucket seats, power
windows, a Flaming River tilt steering column, Total Control pedals
and a New Vintage gauge cluster with custom carbon and red CFR
digital gauges. Additional equipment includes Total Control power
rack-and-pinion steering, a serpentine belt system and custom
oversized Ron Davis aluminum radiator. The build has 1,500 miles on
the drivetrain and suspension, with the exterior and interior
finished in April 2026. The sale includes a Deluxe Marti Report and
the dyno sheet.
