This custom1969 Chevrolet Camaro is powered by a Chevrolet LS7
427ci 7.0-liter crate V-8 engine rated at 540hp, paired with a T56
six-speed manual transmission, McLeod bellhousing, Hurst shifter
and performance clutch setup. Power is delivered through a 12-bolt
Positraction rear end with 3.73 gears and 31-spline axles. Engine
upgrades include a Nick Williams 92mm billet throttle body, Vintage
Air front runner serpentine pulley system, MD MEFI-4B
fuel-injection system with computer and harness, Bosch fuel pump
assembly, Rick's Hot Rod Shop stainless-steel fuel tank and Ron
Davis double-pass aluminum radiator. Hedman Hustler headers with
2-inch primaries and 3-inch collectors feed a custom 3-inch dual
exhaust system with single-chamber stainless Flowmaster mufflers.
The suspension system includes AFX C5 Corvette spindles with a
1-inch drop, SPC adjustable tubular upper control arms, SPC tubular
lower control arms with a 1-inch drop, VariShock adjustable front
coilover shocks, Hellwig 1-inch front sway bar, Competition
Engineering Slide-A-Link traction bars, VariShock adjustable rear
shocks and a Hellwig adjustable-rate rear sway bar. Wilwood
performance disc brakes feature six-piston front and four-piston
rear Superlite calipers with 13-inch drilled and slotted rotors at
all four corners. The exterior is finished in Cortez Silver with
black racing stripes and features Ringbrothers billet aluminum hood
hinges, Marquez Design billet aluminum taillights, side markers and
front running lights, along with PT LED headlights. The engine bay
has been trimmed and paneled with a satin finish, as well as
contoured wiring and plumbing. The interior features black
houndstooth bucket seats, factory tachometer and console gauges,
wood steering wheel and Sony head unit with Boston Acoustic and
Rockford Fosgate audio components. The custom-upholstered trunk
houses integrated 10-inch speakers and a mounted battery setup.
This car rides on Forgeline SP3P three-piece wheels (18x8 front and
19x9.5 rear) wrapped in BFGoodrich tires (245/40/18 KDW TA2 front
and 275/35/19 KDW TA2 rear).
