This custom 1967 Chevrolet Camaro is powered by a 6.2-liter engine
equipped with twin Comp turbos, a Brian Tooley Red Hot camshaft,
Holley Terminator X EFI engine management harness and
stainless-steel headers. Power is delivered through a 4L60E
automatic transmission with a 3,000-stall converter and B&M Pro
Gate shifter to a Moser rear end with an aluminum driveshaft.
Supporting components include an aluminum radiator with electric
fans, 300-amp alternator and a custom fuel tank designed by Scott's
Hotrods 'N Customs. The chassis features a custom tube frame,
narrowed Corvette front-end suspension, four-link rear suspension,
aluminum control arms, rack-and-pinion steering, coilover shocks
and four-wheel disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors. The
body underwent a six-year rotisserie, frame-off restoration and was
dropped 2.5 inches. All four wheel housings were stretched and
widened to accommodate the custom wheel and tire package. The
bumpers were reworked, tucked, narrowed and shaved, and the drip
rails were shaved. A custom hood was designed to fit a ZL1
carbon-fiber scoop with actuator operation. The A-pillars were
widened to conceal the factory weatherstrip channel, and the front
and rear glass openings were modified to allow factory-size glass
to be flush-mounted. Additional exterior features include all-new
glass, hideaway headlights, a Pro-Touring rear spoiler, front lower
spoiler and rear diffuser. This Camaro rides on custom KRNC Forged
Archer Monoblock wheels finished in satin black and satin bronze
gold (18-inch front and 22-inch rear) wrapped in Diamond Back
red-line radial tires (255/40ZR18 front and 235/85R22 rear). The
custom interior was designed by AC Customs of Dalton, Georgia, and
incorporates a full lighting system integrated throughout the cabin
and trunk. Interior features include sound-deadening throughout, a
leather-wrapped D-shaped tilt steering wheel, electric air
conditioning and heat, Holley EFI Pro Dash digital gauges, power
windows and a modern 9-inch HD touchscreen with GPS navigation and
Bluetooth with Pioneer speakers. The vehicle is finished in a
custom-mixed frozen two-tone color.
