This custom 1965 Chevrolet Malibu SS convertible is powered by a
new supercharged 400ci V-8 engine fitted with an Edelbrock 1551
supercharger producing 650hp, mated to a Tremec TKX five-speed
manual transmission. The BluePrint engine has fewer than 500 miles
since installation and was dyno-tuned in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Additional mechanical features include Holley Sniper fuel
injection, long-tube headers, a custom driveshaft, a
high-performance clutch, aluminum radiator and a new 2.5-inch
exhaust system with cutouts. The chassis is equipped with QA1 front
and rear suspension components, including coilover shocks, sway
bars, upper and lower control arms, and rear anti-hop brackets.
Stopping is handled by Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes. The exterior
has been wrapped in Pearl White vinyl film and features a new
convertible top, replaced chrome trim and bumpers, American Racing
wheels and Vercelli tires. The interior features new carpet, bucket
seats with four-point racing harnesses, a new steering column,
Grant steering wheel and a custom stereo system with three
amplifiers and dual 10-inch speakers mounted in the trunk.
Additional features include a powder-coated frame, new fuel tank,
new fuel and brake lines, and both the original hood and a custom
