This 2016 Maserati GranTurismo Sport convertible (known as the
GranCabrio) is powered by a naturally aspirated 4.7-liter V-8
engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission with optional
paddle shifters. The F136 V-8 engine was developed with and built
by Ferrari and features dual overhead camshafts per cylinder bank,
four valves per cylinder and variable valve timing with a factory
rating of 454hp and 384 lb-ft of torque. The Sport model is
equipped with the Skyhook adaptive suspension system. Dual exhaust
outlets provide the exhaust note while Maserati silver brake
calipers with drilled and slotted rotors handle stopping power. The
Pininfarina designed exterior is finished in Bordeaux Pontevecchio
Metallic with a burgundy soft-top. Exterior details include
adaptive bi-xenon headlights, fender porthole vents, LED taillights
and 20-inch Trident Silver wheels mounted with Pirelli P Zero
performance tires. The Sabbia (Sand) interior features Bordeaux and
wood accents, eight-way power heated front seats, a leather and
walnut steering wheel, colored seatbacks with trident-stitched
headrests, MC Design aluminum pedals, Bose 11-speaker
surround-sound stereo, an automatically deploying rollbar system
and Bordeaux dashboard, accent stitching and carpet piping.
