This 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am received a cosmetic restoration
that consisted of repainting the body, rebuilding the transmission,
installing a Safe-T-Track 3.42:1 rear axle, and replacing the brake
booster, master cylinder, carburetor, rotor, fuel pump, spark plugs
and ignition wires. Finished in red over black vinyl upholstery,
power is provided by a 400ci V-8 engine paired with a three-speed
automatic transmission. Equipment includes a shaker hood,
four-wheel disc brakes, 15-inch aluminum wheels, an Edelbrock
intake manifold, a Holley carburetor, an Accel distributor, MSD
ignition wires and Hooker long-tube exhaust headers. The car rides
on 15-inch aluminum wheels with Cooper Cobra tires.
