This custom 1955 Chevrolet Nomad is powered by a Chevrolet Performance SP350/357 Deluxe crate V-8 engine, part number 19435438, sourced from Scoggins Dickey and paired with a Monster Transmission 700R4 Stage 2 automatic transmission. The engine compartment features custom color-matched air cleaner and valve covers. Additional upgrades include an electronic fuel pump system, new lines, hoses and belts, a custom driveshaft and headers connected to a custom stainless-steel exhaust system. The suspension has been lowered 2 inches using a Ridetech StreetGrip suspension system with composite one-piece rear springs. Additional chassis upgrades include a four-wheel disc brake conversion, power steering conversion and electronic parking brake. Cooling is handled by a Champion aluminum radiator with electric cooling fans. The exterior retains a stock appearance and rides on factory wheels and hubcaps fitted with larger Coker tires. The interior features the original carpet and seats, as well as a Flaming River tilt steering column, 15-inch steering wheel, Dakota Digital dash cluster and Vintage Air climate-control system with air conditioning and heat. The car was purchased by its current owner from the Don Salmon Collection and has been kept in a climate-controlled environment.
