This 1932 Ford Highboy custom topless roadster is powered by a
supercharged Edelbrock crate V-8 engine producing 507hp and 487
lb-ft of torque, paired with a 4L60E four-speed automatic
transmission with overdrive. The engine features a full roller
valvetrain and aluminum cylinder heads. Built by Roy Brizio Street
Rods in 1987 for Vic Edelbrock, the car remained owned by Edelbrock
and his estate until August 2025. The chassis utilizes a custom
smoothed and fully boxed frame with rear frame modifications for a
hidden fuel tank and a pinched front section concealed behind a
custom Ron Covell grille. The rear suspension features adjustable
coilovers and chrome ladder bars, while the front suspension
incorporates a chromed dropped axle, adjustable four-bar setup and
cross-steer steering system. Stopping power is provided by polished
aluminum four-piston disc brakes at all four corners. The original
Halibrand quick-change rear end was later replaced with a Ford
9-inch rear end with Positraction. The exterior is finished in
Ferrari Red and features hidden door hinges and smoothed bodywork.
A handmade aluminum hood stretched 3 inches beyond stock dimensions
is paired with steel louvered hood sides and a custom 1932 grille
shortened by 2 inches with polished stainless-steel bars and a
leading V-shaped center edge. The handmade aluminum windshield
frame incorporates mirror mounts. It rides on one-off three-piece
billet knock-off wheels fitted with Goodyear tires. The interior is
upholstered in Navy Blue leather with wool carpeting and red
pinstriping and includes a fold-down armrest, seat belts, polished
aluminum steering column, custom wood dash insert and VDO gauges.
Documentation includes original build receipts from Roy Brizio
Street Rods, records of later upgrades (including engine,
transmission and rear end replacement by Brizio), promotional
materials from show appearances, and canceled titles and
registrations in Vic Edelbrock's name. **VIN NOTICE: THIS VEHICLE
