This custom 1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster Woody wagon is powered by a
big-block Chevrolet crate V-8 engine paired with a three-speed
automatic transmission. The car is equipped with a Fat Man custom
suspension, Vintage Air climate-control system with air
conditioning and a custom exhaust system. The exterior wood and
interior wood were redone in 1985 and again in 2014, at which time
the car was also repainted. The car rides on custom wheels. The
interior has been kept mostly stock in appearance. The car was
purchased by its current owner in 2022 after more than 40 years of
previous ownership. It was featured in Woodie Times magazine in
March 2016 and again in March 2017, on page 22. Copies of both
magazines are included with the sale.
