400ci E-block V-8 engine, block casting No. 390325E, equipped with
dealer-installed Rochester Tri-Power induction and paired with an
original Muncie M21 four-speed manual transmission. The engine
features a correct Oldsmobile Tri-Power intake manifold, correct
casting-number and date-coded carburetors, a correct Oldsmobile
center carburetor with vacuum advance port in the base, G-code
high-compression cylinder heads with 10.5:1 compression and a
Competition Cams Thumpr camshaft. Additional equipment includes a
Hurst shifter and an original 10-bolt limited-slip rear end. The
car is equipped with dual exhaust, power steering and power brakes.
It rides on the correct chrome Rally wheels fitted with FR70-14
red-line tires. The exterior was refinished in one repaint in black
with a red hand-painted pinstripe. The interior features original
black bucket seats and a Mallory tachometer. Built in Lansing,
Michigan, this car is accompanied by the original owner's manual
and original sales brochure.
