Cruisin Classics is excited to present to you this gorgeous 1967
Camaro. This Camaro is dressed in a high-quality respray of it's
original color - Marina Blue, and it looks absolutely beautiful in
the light. Up front theres a cowl hood, a black eggcrate grille
flanked by round headlights in bright bezels, a mirror-finish
chrome bumper, and a black chin spoiler - the iconic look that made
these first gen Camaros wildly popular. Gleaming brightwork is
plentiful and provides a perfect accent to the slick blue paint -
with bright windshield trim, window trim, drip rail molding, dual
side mirrors, door handles, bumpers, wheel lip molding, and rocker
molding. The fenders both wear "Camaro" and "327 (crossflags)"
badges in excellent condition. The "cherry on top" of the side view
is the wheel & tire combo, with Boyd's 5-spoke chrome wheels all
wrapped in Cooper Zeon tires (17's up front and 18's in the rear) -
a perfect choice for this car. Around back are a single piece rear
decklid spoiler, bright taillight surrounds, another chrome bumper,
and chrome exhaust tips. The undercarriage of this Camaro is just
as clean and impressive as the top-side and it appears that the
fuel tank and exhaust have been recently replaced.
As nice as the exterior is, it should be no surprise that the
engine bay received the same detailed attention. The black bay
serves as a backdrop for a freshly painted orange 327ci V-8. While
we know from the VIN that this was originally a V-8 car, we're
unable to tell if the engine is numbers-matching because the block
was decked at some point - leaving a blank pad up front. The 327 is
topped off with orange "Chevrolet" valve covers, a FiTech
fuel-injection system (a serious upgrade!), and a black
single-snorkel air cleaner with "327 TurboFire 275hp" decal. At the
front of the block you'll find power steering and a newer Sanden
compressor that powers the Vintage Air system - that's right, it's
got ice-cold A/C! Stopping power comes courtesy of power front
discs and rear drums. The V-8 is mated up to a 2-speed Powerglide
transmission that sends power to the rear wheels via a 10-bolt rer
axle. Exhaust flows through cast manifolds and newer pipes &
mufflers before exiting the tips with a growl that'll always put a
smile on your face.
According to the trim tag, this Camaro was born with a blue
standard bucket seat interior, but at some point in the recent past
the interior was redone in black with deluxe seats and door panels
(yet another cool upgrade!). The door cards have molded armrests,
carpeted bottom sections, and window cranks. The doors also feature
new window felts and seals. Newer black hook & loop carpet welcomes
you inside for a comfortable cruise. The front headrest-free
Stratobucket seats and rear bench are dressed in black vinyl with
white accent stripes. Not only are the seats comfortable, they are
in excellent condition with no visible demerits. Between the front
buckets is a center console that's topped with an aftermarket
armrest/storage box with cupholders. The original console offers a
shifter with a bright surround and an attached monitor for the
FiTech system. Ahead of the driver is a standard OEM 3-spoke
plastic steering wheel with a working horn button on a tilt column.
The dash is painted black and topped with a crack-free black vinyl
dashpad. Framed by the steering wheel are a 120mph speedometer with
52,543 actual miles on the odometer (backed up by the title) and a
gas gauge. The gauges are flanked by working wiper and light
controls on the left and a lighter and ignition on the right. Under
the dash to the driver's right is an add-on oil pressure gauge from
AutoGauge for keeping a tighter eye on things. The center of the
dash is home to controls for the Vintage Air system that blows cold
A/C and hot heat with a strong fan. Beneath the HVAC controls is a
retro-style AM/FM/Aux stereo that fires up and plays, but has no
ability to adjust the volume (it's pretty quiet with the car
running). Back in the trunk you'll find a fitted houndstooth vinyl
mat and tire cover, a full spare with jack, and a fresh decklid
seal.
If you're looking for a first gen Camaro that runs great, looks
beautiful, and is turn-key ready to cruise to car shows with cold
A/C blowing, this is the end of your search! Glossy paint, stellar
brightwork, Boyd's wheels, an upgraded deluxe interior, a detailed
engine bay, front disc brakes, FiTech fuel-injection (just turn the
key to start!), Vintage Air, center console with armrest, and an
undercarriage so clean you could eat off it - this '67 Camaro
really checks the boxes! First gen Camaros are a hot commodity here
at Cruisin Classics, so don't delay - give our friendly staff a
call today before someone else beats you to it!
