Description:
This Factory Five Racing '35 Hot Rod Truck features composite
bodywork incorporating an aluminum grille, a pickup bed, and is
finished in matte red paint. It rides on adjustable coilovers along
with 18? front and 20? rear American Racing wheels and is equipped
with four-wheel disc brakes. Inside, the cab features a split bench
seat trimmed in black vinyl along with a tilt steering column,
AutoMeter instrumentation, and electric windows. Power is supplied
by a Ford Performance 427ci crate engine fitted with a Holley
Sniper EFI system and BBK Performance shorty headers, while
shifting is through a Tremec five-speed manual transmission linked
with an 8.8? rear axle. Sale prep involved tuning the EFI system as
well as the brakes.
Interior:
The cab houses a roll cage along with a split bench seat trimmed in
black vinyl, which extends to the door panels. The steering wheel
is mounted to a tilt column and accompanied by a floor-mounted
shifter as well as drilled pedals. A controller for the Holley
Sniper EFI system is mounted to the dash, and further details
include electric windows, lap belts, and black carpets. Centrally
mounted AutoMeter instrumentation consists of a 120-mph
speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for oil
pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level. The digital
odometer shows 93 miles.
Exterior:
The composite bodywork is styled after a 1935 Ford and is finished
in Fire Red Pearl matte paint from TCP Global. Exterior details
include an aluminum grille, a hinged tailgate, dual side mirrors,
and LED lighting. The fuel filler is located in the floor of the
pickup bed, which is finished in flat black.
Drivetrain:
The Ford Performance 427ci crate engine is equipped with a Holley
Sniper EFI system, an MSD 6EFI ignition control box, and an
Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold. An aluminum radiator up front
is fitted with an electric puller fan, and further details include
a black-finished air cleaner housing and valve covers. The battery,
starter solenoid, and MSD ignition rotor assembly were replaced in
August 2024. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec
five-speed manual transmission and an 8.8? rear axle. The dual
exhaust system is comprised of BBK Performance shorty headers
flowing into stainless-steel piping and exits ahead of the front
axle under the truck. The 18? front and 20? rear American Racing
Salt Flat wheels feature black centers along with diamond-cut lips
and are mounted with Nitto Nt555 tires measuring 245/40 and 305/30,
respectively. The truck rides on adjustable coilovers, and stopping
power is provided by ventilated four-wheel disc brakes.
