This awesome Custom Wheel Horse Pulling Tractor is a one-of-a-kind build that was built to high show quality standards. This is the ultimate piece for any collection. Wheel Horse was a manufacturer of outdoor and garden equipment including lawn tractors that was nationally recognized. The business was started in the two-car garage of Elmer Pond in 1946. Pond began building two-wheel, self-propelled “Walk-Away” garden tractors that were sold under the Pond name. Due to a naming conflict with another company, the company's name was changed to Wheel Horse. The company's headquarters were in South Bend, Indiana. In mid-August 1986, Wheel Horse was purchased by Toro. The plan with this Wheel Horse Tractor was to build a show quality pulling tractor. From the information gathered it was built with an open checkbook and completed in 2022. MS CLASSIC CARS purchased it in April of 2026 and June of 2026 is the first time it's been listed for sale. Display it, show it or use it!

This example is built on a late-1960's chassis that was modified, prepped and powder coated black. The one-piece hood with front grill was extended to accommodate the longer front end. The hood is equipped with a release lever and tilts forward for easy access to the engine. The OEM Wheel Horse rear fender was modified to accommodate the rear end and tires. The laser straight sheet metal was refinished with red automotive grade paint. The custom center console area was also refinished in red and houses two black levers. The paint was recently detailed to a superior finish by the team at MS CLASSIC CARS. The hood was decorated with white White horse decals and chrome on the top of the grill. The custom control panel was refinished in black and the fascia was decorated with chrome panels. It's equipped with a power on/off toggle switch and push button start. It was outfitted with a 3-spoke black steering which is comfortable to hold. The sides were decorated with chrome panels which reflect beautifully. It sports a Wheel Horse embossed low back black seat with is comfortable and tilts forward for accessibility to the rear end area. The highly detailed Predator V-Twin engine was built with many upgrades for the high performance. Some of the engine upgrades include a degreed camshaft, forged pistons, billet rods, HD push rods, HD valve springs, 3 angle valve job with port and polished heads. The heads were shaved and thinner gaskets were installed. It's equipped with a billet flywheel, aftermarket intake, aluminum valve covers and Holly fuel pump. The carburetor was re-jetted, tuned and has a K&N chrome air cleaner. It's equipped with an aluminum fuel tank and Midwest Super Cub gas pedal. The engine runs excellent on Cam 110 race fuel. The engine breathes through a custom ceramic coated exhaust header. The engine is paired with an 8-speed rear end that has been completely rebuilt with a chromoly straight axle. This tractor still has a flywheel for cooling so it can be paraded or driven. It rolls on chrome 6” front wheels with Deestone 3.50-6 tires and 8” rear wheels with Carlisle Super Lug 20x10-8 tires. The new rear tires were installed by MS CLASSIC CARS. Most of the hardware is polished throughout. It currently has weight plates on the center and rear section. The front weight box is empty. It's equipped with rear wheelie bars. This is one sweet machine that will make the new owner smile!
