This is a very nice 65 GTO that came out of South Carolina, has been redone in its factory Montero Red, basecoat clearcoat, sanded and wheeled smooth, at time of restoration had new tinted windshield; all other glass is factory original and has been smoke tinted in excellent condition, all window stainless is original in excellent condition, new weather stripping and window felts, new side view mirrors, door handles have also been replaced, new grills and header panel emblem, at time of restoration headlight bezels and front bumper where re-chromed, wheel well and rocker moldings are in excellent condition, taillight bezels and tail panel applique are original in fair condition, rear bumper has been re-chromed, new deck lid emblems.
Factory black bucket seat interior, original dash in excellent condition, new dash pad, original instrument cluster with factory gauge package - showing 56,570 miles and working tach, nicely outfitted with direct fit retro stereo with IPOD capability and bluetooth, headliner and visors are in excellent condition, new front and rear door panels, new front & rear seat covers and foam, updated with front seat belts, carpet has been replaced with deluxe floor mats, updated with Hurst Indy 4 speed shifter.
Under the hood the original motor has been replaced with a correct date 389 with Tri-Power, factory ignition, nicely updated with direct fit heavy duty aluminum radiator with correct shroud and 7 clutch blade fan, power steering, power brakes, front suspension has been gone through, this strong running 389 is backed up with a Muncie 4 speed, factory exhaust manifolds into 2 1/2 inch dual exhaust out the back in stock location with chrome splitter tips, factory 323 limited slip rear, nicely updated with boxed lower control arms and sway bar.
