THE LAST DETAIL Introduced for 1967 alongside Chevrolet's
Camaro, Pontiac's sporty F-body Firebird was immediately successful
and produced in first-generation form through the strike-extended
1969 model year. The entire range of Pontiac engine and drivetrain
options was available with the Firebird and a huge option list made
it possible for buyers to personalize their cars to their
individual needs. This extremely attractive 1967 Firebird Hardtop
is a fabulous case in point, benefiting from a recently completed,
concours-quality restoration. Sporting an outstanding Blue
paint finish over a Black bucket-seat interior, this 1967 Pontiac
Firebird Hardtop is a highly optioned example from the inaugural
Firebird model year. Produced during June 1967 at GM's Lordstown,
Ohio assembly plant, this collector-grade 1967 Firebird is powered
by Pontiac's potent 326 CI V-8 engine, mounting a 4-barrel
carburetor atop a high-rise GM performance intake manifold. Power
delivery is via a 4-speed manual transmission. Other choice
features and options include A/C, an AM radio, power steering and
brakes, a hood tachometer, bucket front seats, and a center console
with clock. Rally II style custom wheels mounting BF Goodrich
Radial T/A tires provide road contact for this excellent,
first-year Pontiac Firebird that carries a great stance and the
first-year Firebird's outstanding styling cues. Be sure to contact
