This ’29 Ford Model A is a Fordor Town Sedan that is believed to have been built into a hot rod around 2009 a steel body and a custom boxed frame. The car rides on custom wire wheels and a Super Bell drop axle, front and rear four-bar setups, adjustable rear coilovers, and front disc brakes. Its 350ci V8 is topped by an Edelbrock intake manifold, carburetor, and finned valve covers, and tubular headers are linked to a polished dual exhaust system. The 700R4 automatic is linked to a Ford rear end, and inside is a banjo-style wheel mounted on a tilt column, Classic Instruments gauges, and a Lokar shifter. Acquired by the seller in 2023, this Model A is now offered on their behalf with records and an Arizona title.
The ALL steel bodywork is finished in blue with a contrasting stripe and features a vinyl roof, a tilt-out windshield, a Boyce MotoMeter radiator cap, running boards, full fenders, a windshield visor, a louvered hood, cowl lights, and a spot light. Bob Drake Reproductions Quartz headlights were fitted in 2009, at which time the fenders were refinished.
Custom wire wheels measuring 15″ were fitted in 2009 as well, and they are mounted with 215/70 BFGoodrich Silvertown whitewalls. The front end features a Super Bell drop axle with a transverse leaf spring, a four-bar setup, and Pete & Jake’s tube shocks, while the four-bar rear setup uses adjustable coilovers. Front disc brakes were added along with hydraulic rear drums.
Seat belts have been added to the button-tufted bench up front, and the matching rear has center and side arm rests. A modern radio is mounted in an overhead console and linked to kick-panel speakers.
The banjo-style steering wheel is mounted on a drop column that also tilts, and Classic Instruments gauges and a billet surround were fitted. The mileage indicated represents the distance driven since 2009.
