THIS is a 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle purpose-built drag car finished
as a clean, rust-free Pro ET bracket-style build with serious
big-block power and a well-sorted chassis setup. Power comes from a
468ci big-block Chevy running 12:1 compression on E85 with Holley
Sniper EFI, Promaxx heads, Weiand Track Warrior intake, steel
crank, aftermarket I-beam rods with ARP bolts, 2-bolt mains,
Herbert CBR262 solid roller cam, Aeromotive fuel pump, and a
dyno-tuned Nitrous Express 150-shot dry system, with output of 526
wheel horsepower naturally aspirated and 683 wheel horsepower on
the 150-shot. The nitrous setup also includes a perimeter plate
capable of supporting a larger shot, giving the car room to grow if
desired. Backing the big block is a Powerglide with SFI case built
for 700 horsepower, ATI Treemaster converter, ATI transbrake, and
electric solenoid shifter. The rear setup includes a 12-bolt rear
end with no-hop bars, 3.73 gears, Moser axles, spool, adjustable
upper control arms, solid lower control arms, HR Parts N Stuff
anti-roll bar, Viking double-adjustable rear shocks, Moroso trick
front springs, and 90/10 front drag shocks. Additional highlights
include Pypes performance exhaust with cutouts, full rewire in 2024
using an American Autowire kit, 6-point roll bar, and an additional
set of polished rear Centerline wheels with Mickey Thompson ET
Street Radial tires. The car ran 10.77 at 124 mph at Brainerd
International Raceway on 5/24/2026 and passed tech without issue at
NHRA tracks. This Chevelle has seen hundreds of passes over the
years as a Pro ET bracket car and is presented as a sorted,
competitive drag car that could continue bracket racing as-is or
potentially be returned toward street use with the addition of
power steering, inner fender wells, and a rear differential
carrier. Example videos are available upon request. Visit Veritas
