HIGHLIGHTS: • The Pro-street Look: Aggressive drag-inspired stance
built on a factory V8 classic Mopar chassis. • Big Block Mopar
Power: Features a 451ci stroker V8 (built from a 400ci block). •
Street-Friendly Drivetrain: Torqueflite 727 automatic transmission
mated to a manageable street setup. • Premium Rolling Stock: Weld
Racing wheels wrapped in fat Mickey Thompson rear tires (2024 date
code). • Custom Pearl Paint: Finished in Powder White Diamond Pearl
with a classic black tail stripe. • Race-Inspired Interior:
Features a full roll cage, Corbeau racing buckets, and racing
harnesses. • Civilized Exhaust: Custom four-muffler setup that
delivers a deep rumble without the deafening drone. BODY OVERVIEW:
This '72 Dart Swinger perfectly captures the golden era of
""Pro-Street"" car culture. Unlike many heavily modified cars, the
main body remains largely unmodified, retaining its classic, clean
Mopar silhouette. The sheet metal is straight and the undercarriage
is solid, providing an excellent foundation. The Weld wheels and
wide rear Mickey Thompsons give it an intimidating stance that
looks ready for the drag strip, even though it was built to rule
the local boulevard. PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: The exterior is
finished in Powder White Diamond Pearl, a custom color that
absolutely glimmers and pops under direct natural sunlight.
Showroom Note:This is an older, honest repaint completed in 2007.
While it shows beautifully outside, it is a driver-quality finish
that reveals minor age-related imperfections, light scratches, and
small bubbles upon close inspection under indoor showroom lighting.
It is a fantastic, worry-free choice for a car meant to be driven
and enjoyed. INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The interior strikes a
perfect balance between race-day aesthetics and street usability.
The cockpit features black racing bucket seats, a full roll cage,
Corbeau safety harnesses, and a Turbo Action Cheetah SCS floor
shifter. The door panels, carpets, and dash present very well for a
mature build, showing only minor wear on the driver's seat bolster
and a slightly cloudy lens on the fuel pressure gauge. A custom
white steering wheel ties the interior to the pearl exterior
beautifully. MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: Under the hood is a 451ci Mopar
big block stroker engine equipped with Indy aluminum cylinder
heads, an Indy aluminum intake manifold, a 4-barrel Holley
carburetor, and MSD ignition. Power is fed through a dependable 727
automatic transmission. While it looks like a high-maintenance race
car, this Dart is highly civilized. Thanks to a clever exhaust
system utilizing four total mufflers (including Flowmaster and
Hushpower units), it retains a deep big-block tone without giving
you a headache on longer cruises. WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR:
• All of the Look, None of the Drama: A full Pro-Street aesthetic
wrapped in a manageable, street-legal package you can actually
drive to local car shows. • Civilized Big Block: The unique exhaust
setup means you can cruise town without annoying the neighbors or
the local police. • Solid Mopar Foundation: A clean, straight
factory V8 car with a very honest underbody. WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE
ABOUT THIS CAR: • Built for the Street, Not the Trophy: While it
features a stroker motor, the setup is tuned for street cruising
rather than competitive bracket racing. • No Factory Creature
Comforts: In true hot-rod style, there is no factory heating, A/C,
or fuel gauge installed. DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? The reverse lights
do not work. There is no heat or A/C installed, in true race car
style. This car mostly needs a new owner looking for a good time! •
The reverse lights are currently inoperative. • The factory
tachometer and fuel gauge are not connected/operational
(aftermarket gauge pod monitors vitals). • The front tires have
good tread but unknown date codes; replacement is recommended for
highway driving. WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? This Dart is
built for the enthusiast who loves the aggressive, muscular look of
a Pro-Street machine but wants something reliable enough to take to
Friday night cruise-ins or local cars and coffee events. If you
want the stance, the roll cage, and the big-block sound without the
high-strung headaches of a dedicated track car, this Mopar is ready
to roll. Contact Rare Rides Company at 980-306-8100 or
