INTRODUCTION: This Nova absolutely nails the look! The stance is
dead on, the wheel and tire combination is perfect, and the color
has an incredible rich finish that grabs attention everywhere it
goes. But it's more than just a pretty face. The moment you slide
behind the wheel, grab the 5-speed shifter, and let the clutch out,
you immediately appreciate what this car is really about. The
Blueprint LS stroker delivers serious horsepower, and the upgraded
chassis transforms the driving experience with modern performance,
handling, and confidence. It's the perfect blend of classic muscle
car attitude and contemporary performance engineering.
EXTERIOR: Looking at this car, it has it going on! The stance and
wheel combination are just right. I've always thought the '66 Nova
had a tough, masculine body style, making it the perfect platform
for a hot rod build. This one in particular is absolutely straight
with nice body lines and no signs of rust or damage showing. It's
been repainted in a beautiful metallic burgundy color with a
lustrous, smooth, glossy finish. Overall, the chrome and trim are
bright and shiny throughout. The windshield has been replaced,
while the original glass has been tinted. Completing the look is an
aggressive wheel and tire setup with RC Components wheels: 17 inch
skinnies up front and 15 inch fatties in back, all wrapped in fresh
Mickey Thompson tires.
INTERIOR: It has been restored while keeping that cool vintage vibe
intact. The seats have been recushioned and upholstered, and it
also features reproduction door panels, headliner, and visors. The
gauges are especially neat because they appear stock at first
glance, but once illuminated you realize they're actually RetroTech
digital gauges, giving you modern functionality with a factory
look. There's also a retro style stereo mounted in the factory
location. Down between the bucket seats is a new reproduction
console with a 5-speed shifter sticking out of it, reminding you
this classic has some modern performance built in as well.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: At the heart of this beast is a Blueprint built
LS 408 stroker pumping out an impressive 585 horsepower and 540
lbs. of torque! It's loaded with performance internals including a
forged crank, roller cam, and aluminum heads. Sitting on top is a
fabricated intake with a custom cold air tube feeding the engine.
One of my favorite details is the vintage style Chevrolet script
valve covers, giving this modern powerhouse a nostalgic muscle car
appearance. The front of the engine is decked out with a premium
CVF billet front runner serpentine system featuring polished
brackets, a mini air conditioning compressor, modern alternator,
and power steering with a remote reservoir. Stainless headers help
this stroker breathe while delivering an aggressive exhaust note.
It uses a Wilwood master cylinder for the braking system and stays
cool with a large aluminum radiator and dual electric fans. Custom
inner fenders give it a clean finished appearance, and it also
features support bars running from the firewall to the frame to
improve rigidity and handling.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and jamb, the finish is
smooth and glossy like the exterior. Inside is solid metal and
features a custom cut carpeted mat for a clean finished appearance.
The gel battery has been relocated to the trunk giving the engine
compartment a cleaner look.
UNDERSIDE: The chassis and suspension have been completely
reengineered to give this car the feel of a modern sports car. Up
front is a performance subframe with tubular control arms,
adjustable coilover gas shocks, and rack-and-pinion steering for
precise handling. Welded in frame connectors tie the body together
to help eliminate flex and improve stability. In back, it features
relocated mono leaf springs with lowering blocks, tubular traction
bars, and double adjustable QA1 gas shocks for maximum traction and
tuning capability. The custom dual exhaust system with stainless
Borla mufflers delivers an aggressive performance sound. The fuel
system was replaced and upgraded for the fuel injected motor. Disc
brakes at all four wheels provide confident stopping power. Looking
up at the engine, you'll spot an aluminum Holley oil pan and a high
torque starter. The Silver Sport transmission package includes a
Tremec TKX 5-speed manual and hydraulic clutch, sending power
through a custom driveshaft to a heavy duty Quick Performance
9-inch rear with 4.30 posi gears. The floors are solid throughout
and protected with a light undercoating.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and our reputation. Every
vehicle goes through our service department where it is inspected,
test driven, and we address the essentials before offering it for
sale.
CONCLUSION: This one is definitely built for the driver. Whether
you're launching through first gear or effortlessly cruising in
fifth, you'll find yourself taking the long way home every chance
you get. The power, the sound, and the upgraded handling make every
mile an experience. And when you finally do reach your destination,
be prepared for the crowd that gathers around it. The stance, the
color, and the overall presence of this Nova are guaranteed to earn
compliments everywhere it goes.
