Here we have a well documented Buick convertible. A nice, quality, turn key driver. Easy to own and operate. A small, 300 ci V8 under the hood, an automatic transmission, power steering and power brakes and even power windows!
Original shade of Astro Blue with a nice black bench seat interior. The front seat appears to have been professionally reupholstered. The rear original and showing some signs of wear. Seat belts installed for four adult passengers.
This car has undergone a full restoration over many years starting in 1981 when the body was removed from the frame and the frame professionally repaired, sand blasted and painted. The floor boards where also professionally replaced on or around that same time with correct, reproduction replacements. A well done job on all counts. both fenders and lower 1/4 panels have also been repaired over the years but has held up well.
The engine rebuild is from 2013 and fully documented with photos and receipts. Lots of money invested there and the engine looks like it was installed yesterday. A very clean and proper engine bay. The car runs fantastic. Just a slight exhaust leak, hardly noticeable and only when cold. I wouldn't touch it.
The black convertible top is power operated and works perfectly with nice canvas and a clean and non cloudy rear window. No issues there either. Decent chrome and trim. Paint is older and decent but lacks a full luster, deep shine. A cutting buff could do some improvement I suspect.
Just a nice, easy driver you can enjoy from day one. No projects. Just fun from the start. A very nice car but not so nice that you need to panic every time you drive it.
