This Custom Go Kart is a one of kind rolling piece of artwork. It was built from scratch by Phil Fanelli of Sauquoit, New York. Phil's vision was to create the ultimate Go Kart with a Patriotic theme. His vision came to life when it was completed in 2025. Since completion it's been used a total of 6.9 hours as the Runleader Tach Hour Meter indicates. MS CLASSIC CARS purchased this beautiful machine from Phil on May 5th of 2026. MS CLASSIC CARS decided to list it on May 22 in perfect time for Memorial Day weekend. Coincidentally May 22nd is also MS CLASSIC CARS owner Marc Schiliro's 28th wedding anniversary with his wife Jamie Schiliro.
The 1 5/16 x 1/8” steel tubing was sourced from Pace Maker and the chassis fabricated by Phil. The chassis has 12” of ground clearance. It was painted in the colors of red, white and blue. Foam padding was added in various areas for protection. The side panels were also fabricated, painted and decorated with “We the People” decals. It was outfitted with an adjustable Pro High Back Race Seat with an R&P black padded seat cover. The driver is secured by a Tanaka 4-point harness for safety. The floor was treated with black textured paint for durability. The 3-spoke padded steering wheel turns the Flaming River rack and pinion steering unit. It's equipped with a key start and choke lever. The column was setup with an engine stop switch on the left side and a light switch on the right side. When the light switch is on it illuminates the Kawell LED headlights, LED taillights, and flagpole LED lights. The column also is equipped with a custom backlit tachometer. The BDX Performance front suspension consists of RFY shocks with white springs and A-arms that can be easily greased. The rear suspension also consists of RFY shocks with white springs. The rear was setup with a 1.25 BMI Karts heavy duty ¼” thick chromoly axle. It's equipped with a 2-piece 60” sprocket on aluminum hub for easy sprocket changes. The front is setup with front wheel disc brakes with gold calipers and drilled rotors. The rear is setup with one disc brake with a black caliper and drilled rotor. It rolls on black steel wheels that are mounted to Duro DI-K540 19x7x8 front tires and Duro DI-K758 22x10x10 rear tires. It's powered by a new Predator 22hp V-Twin engine with Go Power Sports 7080 series TAV drive system. It has a remote oil catch can, Drainzit hose and Edelbrock chrome air cleaner. The engine breathes through a custom exhaust with removable DB killer. The engine has only been run with Valvoline VR1 oil and non-ethanol gas only.
