1967 Chevrolet Corvette For Sale- Tuxedo Black, Red Int, L79
327/350hp, A/C, Many Options
LMC is very proud to offer for sale this 1967 Chevrolet Corvette
L79 Convertible
The 1967 Chevrolet Corvette is one of the most iconic American cars
of the 1960's. America's Sports Car had developed a reputation of
great performance and unmistakable styling. Of course, it was the
big block 427 cars which garnered a lot of the attention but the
high horsepower 327 cars were among the best balanced sports car
for the time. Similar to the 289 vs 427 Cobra, the 327 Corvettes
are often looked upon as being the better of the two engines for
those looking for a balance of drivability, performance and
comfort.
Unlike the first generation, the Sting Ray could be had in both
coupe and convertible body styles, and this proved to be a big hit
with the public. Over the course of the Sting Ray's production from
1963 to 1967, styling remained largely the same albeit for some
subtle changes. Four-wheel disc brakes and a big-block engine
became available in 1965, and with a long list of options and
colors, enthusiasts could mix and match to their hearts'
desires.
This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette convertible offered here for sale is a
highly optioned example stunningly finished in 900 Tuxedo Black
with a 400 Red vinyl and has been beautifully frame off restored.
Power comes from a matching-numbers L79 engine backed by a matching
numbers Muncie four speed manual transmission. This example comes
with an incredible list of options including factory style
Frigidaire air conditioning, hardtop, side exhaust, power windows,
speed minder, power brakes, power steering and AM/FM radio. The
underside of the Corvette is nicely finished with a satin Black
painted frame, detailed suspension and bare fiberglass floors.
Many enthusiasts believe the L79 is the perfect engine to power a
C2 Corvette with an optimal power/weight balance, better than the
heavier big blocks. This frame-off restored convertible has an
incredible amount of desirable options and presented in a stunning
color combination will surely turn heads everywhere it goes!
