The 1971 Chevrolet C10 Long Bed wasn't built to sit in a garage
under a cover - this big-body bruiser was built to cruise low,
loud, and mean. Drenched in dark green and white with woodgrain
trim flowing down the lower body lines, this square-jawed Chevy
brings together old-school truck swagger with the kind of street
presence that makes people stop mid-conversation when it rolls
by.
Under the hood sits what is believed to be the original
numbers-matching big block Chevy powerplant. During the rebuild,
the deck surface was machined, removing the original stampings, but
the block itself correctly decodes as an early 1971 Chevrolet big
block. That monster V8 is paired to a bulletproof TH400 3-speed
automatic transmission and backed by a stout 12-bolt rear end,
giving this long bed the kind of torque that shoves you back in the
seat every time you crack the throttle.
This C10 has the perfect stance - lowered down over tubular A-arms
up front so it hugs the pavement with attitude. The truck rides on
a killer staggered setup with chrome REV wheels measuring 18 inches
up front and massive 20s in the rear, giving it that aggressive hot
rod truck posture everybody wants but few get right.
Inside, the vibe is pure vintage muscle truck. A black vinyl bench
seat with green cloth inserts ties perfectly into the green dash
and woodgrain trim, while a modern radio has been added so you can
blast your favorite tunes while cruising this steel-bodied street
machine down the highway.
This ain't some over-restored trailer queen. This is a badass big
block C10 with killer colors, a nasty stance, and enough presence
to own every parking lot it pulls into.
