This one of a kind Defender has undergone a careful and complete frame off restoration. The undercarriage (see photos) was fully restored using the original frame. The outside of the vehicle was also restored in a beautiful two-tone heritage green body with a Puma hood together with a cream colored top. Inside features new seats and upholstery, matching new carpets, together with modern creature comforts such as air conditioning, power windows, power locks, back up camera, bluetooth audio, and Apple Car Play/Android video screen. The 300 TDI turbo diesel engine, one of Land Rover's most reliable, fuel economic, and long lasting engines has been rebuilt with new cylinder head, valves, pistons, and more. The engine components are all new with new injectors, fuel pump, fuel tank, etc. The odometer currently reads 24,500 KM.
The frame of the Defender was completely sandblasted to mitigate any rust, and to produce a beautiful Defender with a unique color combination! The body has been completely restored as well at this point with brand new doors, new Puma hood, and more. The vehicle has recently had all fluids changed, the air conditioning freshly charged, and a new battery added. The vehicle comes with official Defender/Land Rover floor mats to further protect the carpet. This vehicle is in fantastic shape and should provide an incredible driving experience for the classic Defender aficionado who becomes her next owner. A British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate of the factory record will be provided to the buyer indicating the vehicle was built in Solihul England in November 1987 before being exported to Turkey where it was sold in 1988. The restoration took place in the late winter and spring of 2025 before it was imported to the United States. This is a beautifully restored Defender ready to give years of enjoyment and pleasure to its next owner.
