GMC introduced the Suburban in 1937 shortly after Chevrolet
introduces the Suburban Carryall in 1934. This partially restored
'87 Suburban 2WD is a great example of a 7th generation model.
Two-Tone Exterior / Fully Optioned Square Body SUV-
The Suburban's straight body has been refinished in 2-tone Brown
and Tan that is in very good condition. Accents include side pin
stripping, nice chrome and stainless and vintage style hood and
tailgate pinstriping. The tan cloth interior has been partially
restored and is in very good overall condition. Features include
front and rear air conditioning, bench front seat, second row rear
seating, tinted windows, tilt wheel, cruise and AM/FM/CD stereo
system. The rear tailgate window is power assisted.
Small Block Power-
Power is furnished by a 5.7L 350ci V8 with Throttle Body Injection.
Torque is delivered by a GM 700R4 automatic gearbox to a 10-bolt
rear differential. The chassis is equipped with power steering and
power disc/drum brakes. Polished 20" front and 22" rear US Mag
wheels and the lowered suspension give it a great stance. This Gen7
Suburban is a very nice vehicle with a lot of life still to live -
it is a good value.
