Exterior Highlights:
The exterior of the truck is super sharp with dark blue metallic paint and all the details that went with trucks of this era. The truck is equipped with brand new chrome bumpers front and rear. The paint on the truck is in great shape and could be improved with some buffing to really bring out the shine, no scratches or dents. The body and panel fit on this truck are spectacular. The body of the truck is all steel including the fenders, this was a rust free truck to start with, no filler in this truck period. The truck has a very sharp set of 5 custom built black steel wheel smith wheels with new ford centers and trim rings and new Michellin tires all the way around, including the spare. The truck is equipped with dual side mirrors. The truck is equipped with excellent running boards with ford step inserts. The truck has its factory short bed with hardwood boards and stainless strips. No expense was spared in building this truck, it is awesome. The interior of the truck is in excellent shape and has factory details everywhere. The vehicle features a nice black vinyl bench seat that is super sharp. The interior is very clean with attention to detail everywhere. The truck has a very sharp and new 5-speed shifter connected to a brand new tremec 5-spreed transmission that adds to the sporty feel of the truck. The truck has a chrome auxiliary column mounted tachometer, and a full array of factory dash gauges that are in excellent shape in a color coded dash that is full of detail. The truck retains its original steering column with new electric assist power steering added to make this truck super easy to drive and handle. The truck has a working interior light and seat belts (nothing was overlooked). Mechanical Highlights:
Mechanically this truck has a very cool drivetrain with a Pauls Automotive built 200 cubic inch 6-Cylinder motor with a Paxton supercharger. The truck starts with a flick of the key and runs like a top. The block was cleaned at American metal cleaning, and bored and honed 0.030 over. The crank was magnafluxed, polished, and checked for straightness and size(both in good shape). The pistons are custom probe forged dish with 9.0:1 compression and floating pins. The rods are stock, they were magna fluxed, and rebuilt with ARP bolts and small end was bushed for full floating pins. The cam shaft is a Crane #510531, hydraulic flat tappet lifter, 1.5 ratio rockers. The cylinder head was cleaned and magna fluxed with new guides, new intake and exhaust seats, new intake valves, new exhaust, Clifford exhaust port divider, new sealed power rocker shaft assembly, head complete custom port and polish, and new valve springs with locks and retainers. The engine was balanced and blueprinted, assembled with clevite, cam rod, and main bearing. The ignition is Petronics ignitor 1266 conversion installed in stock distributor. The carb is a Holley 2 bbl 350cfm with nitro phyl float. This vehicle is ready for the road. The truck is equipped with a brand new Tremec 5-speed transmission TR3551-TKX, it shifts effortlessly and is a joy to drive. The truck is equipped with electric assist power rack and pinion steering. The truck is equipped with power front disk brakes. The heating system on the truck has been completely gone through. The truck has an aluminum radiator with electric fan to keep the truck running cool. The engine bay of the vehicle is very clean and well sorted like the rest of the truck. The undercarriage of this truck is excellent. This is a truck you can get in and enjoy from day one and have an unbelievably sharp truck.
