1967 PONTIAC GTO #'S MATCHING ENGINE, 700R4 AUTOMATIC TRANS, P-O-P,
WEST COAST CAR! This 1967 Pontiac GTO is wearing its factory color
Tyrol Blue, code F, with Parchment interior. Looking down both
sides it is straight and appears to be all original sheet metal.
The paint has a nice glossy clear coat finish. It has nice fit and
finish and is straight down both sides, no rust issues. All of the
chrome and trim is nice. In the front; the headlight bezels, front
bumper and grill are nice and in good shape. All brightwork is in
good condition. Glass is in good condition, all windows roll up and
down with ease. In the back; the trim, rear bumper, moldings and
taillights look new. It sits on a set of factory 14x6 Rally II
wheels with nice trim rings and black PMD center caps wrapped in a
set of red line tires. The interior is in great shape, the seat
upholstery and seat foam have been replaced. It has Parchment
bucket seats with a factory center console and its factory Hurst
Dual Gate shifter. The door panels, armrest pads, door handles,
window cranks, carpet, headliner and rear package tray are in great
shape. The dash and dash pad look great. A speedometer and
tachometer were added. Other features include a Pontiac retro AM/FM
radio. It has factory GM front and rear seatbelts as well. The
engine compartment is nicely detailed with its original number
matching 400 ci/335 hp motor, casting number 9786133, suffix code
YS. The engine has been completely rebuilt. It has factory chrome
valve covers, stock exhaust manifolds, a 4-core radiator and
factory chrome pancake style air cleaner. Other features include
power steering and power brakes. The firewall and under the hood
are painted and have a nice satin black finish. Great for car shows
and cruise-ins! The undercarriage has very solid floors that are
painted in a satin black finish. All clean metal. The front
suspension and steering components look to be in good shape. It has
new front and rear springs. Looking up, the bottom of the motor and
upgraded 700R4, 4 speed automatic transmission are clean. It also
has a 3:55 Safe-T-Track rear end. All E-brake cables are hooked up
and working. There is a dual exhaust system that runs all the way
to the rear bumper of the car and has a nice throaty sound. The
trunk is clean metal with a coat of spatter paint, spare tire, jack
assembly, lug wrench and newer weather stripping. This is a great
looking GTO! Clean, very desirable color combo, runs very strong
