This 1979 Ford Bronco XLT Ranger is such a cool rig!!! This Bronco
retains its original body and paint but has had a mechanical and
interior restoration done. This thing looks awesome and is ready to
roll. This is an Arizona Bronco where it spent most of its life
until 2016-2017 when it went to Illinois where the restoration was
performed. The last owner spent a lot of time and money making this
truck a dependable and cool ride. It is an awesome build with a
great color combination. The body is excellent!! It is extremely
straight and all original. The paint is 98% original and looks
super cool. The colors are Candy Apple Red and Wimbledon White and
the paint obviously has patina as you can see in the pictures. The
Bronco still has all of the XLT trim and it is in excellent shape
along with the chrome. It received a new SoftTopper Soft Top when
it was restored. The underside of this Bronco is super clean and we
found no rust issues with this vehicle.
The interior is completely restored. The seats were redone in the
original Ford material. It received new carpet, new dash cover, and
deluxe door panels. When it was redone the entire interior was
removed and Dynamat was installed and the rear panels were redone.
The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all
working. The gauges all work. The horn and windshield wipers work.
The heat and Factory AC are also working. The factory stereo is
still in the dash, buy a new stereo system was installed with a
sub, all new speakers, 2 amps, and a head unit installed in the
center console.
Mechanically this truck is top notch. Almost everything was
replaced or rebuilt. The engine is the 6.6L 400M V8 that was
totally rebuilt 3,000 miles ago and we have the receipt. It was a
mild build and it runs strong with no issues or red flags that we
found. It has an Edelbrock aluminum intake, Edelbrock Carb, HEI
ignition, and headers with full custom dual Flowmaster exhaust. It
received a new starter, new alternator, new fuel pump, new power
steering pump, new water pump, new aluminum radiator, all new belts
and hoses. The AC system and brake system were also completely gone
through with all new parts where needed. The transmission is the C6
Automatic that was completely rebuilt (have receipt) and shifts
great. It is mated to the np205 transfer case that was resealed and
gone through, The 4WD works like it should. It has the Ford 9" rear
end with 4.10 gears and a limited slip. The front axle is the Dana
44 with 4.10 gears. Both axles were completely rebuilt. It has a 4
Inch lift with dual shocks up front and Fox Reservoir shocks on the
rear. This is all sitting on a nice set of aftermarket aluminum
wheels with 33 Inch BFG all terrain tires. It also has a matching
spare on the rear.
