1966 MG Midget convertible. Powered by a 1.1-liter inline
four-cylinder engine paired with a four-speed manual transmission.
The MG Midget features shining chrome accents on the bumper,
grille, and headlight bezels, the red paint shows only minor
imperfections. The radial tires are brand new and fitted on wire
wheels, and the carburetor has been recently rebuilt for better
performance. The braking system is updated with new rear wheel
cylinders and a new master cylinder. A luggage rack is mounted on
the rear, and the chrome on the rear bumper is well maintained
despite a few minor nicks. The convertible top is black vinyl,
fitting well with clear rear windows. A brand new car cover, still
in packaging, and an original manual are included. The technical
inspection notes: the speedometer is non-operational, the turn
signal switch is somewhat touchy, and the headlights are not
working. These issues are priced accordingly. Inside, the black
vinyl interior shows minor wear. The tachometer works but is
slightly inaccurate, while other gauges for, water temperature, and
oil pressure operate as expected. The car starts smoothly, with the
dual carburetors recently rebuilt. On the road, the manual
transmission and light steering contribute to the car's enjoyable
and nimble driving experience, with a smooth running engine and
nice exhaust note.
