2013 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport Coupe - LS3 / Cam / Long Tubes
/ Forgestar Wheels
This 2013 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport Coupe is a sharp,
tastefully modified C6 finished in Cyber Gray Metallic over Ebony
leather. With just 42k miles, Grand Sport wide-body styling, LS3
power, performance upgrades, Forgestar wheels, Morimoto LED
lighting, and upgraded interior/audio equipment, this Corvette
delivers the right mix of modern performance, aggressive looks, and
everyday usability.
The C6 Grand Sport already starts as one of the best-looking and
best-performing Corvette packages of its generation. With wider
fenders, functional brake cooling ducts, upgraded suspension
tuning, larger brakes, and the naturally aspirated LS3 V8, the
Grand Sport gives you Z06-inspired presence with the comfort and
convenience of a street-friendly coupe.
This example takes that formula further with a revised camshaft,
AirAid intake, long-tube headers, custom ECU calibration, and
valved mufflers, giving the car more sound, more response, and a
much more aggressive personality than stock.
Exterior
Finished in Cyber Gray Metallic, this Grand Sport has a sinister,
modern look that works perfectly with the wide-body C6 lines. The
Grand Sport package adds wider front and rear fenders, additional
brake cooling ducts ahead of the rear wheels, and a more aggressive
stance than a standard Corvette.
Exterior upgrades include Morimoto LED headlights, fog lights, side
markers, and taillights, giving the car a cleaner and more modern
appearance. The car also features a removable roof panel, front
splitter with supports, polished quad exhaust outlets, and painted
side mirrors.
The Cyber Gray paint paired with black wheels and LED lighting
gives this Corvette a very clean, understated, and
performance-focused look.
Wheels & Stance
The car rides on black Forgestar F14 wheels, measuring 18 inches up
front and 19 inches in the rear. They are wrapped in Continental
ExtremeContact tires sized 255/40 front and 355/30 rear, giving the
car a wide, planted stance and plenty of rear tire under the Grand
Sport bodywork.
Braking is handled by Grand Sport performance hardware, including
six-piston front calipers and four-piston rear calipers over
ventilated rotors measuring 14 inches front and 13.4 inches rear.
The rotors and brake pads are said to have been replaced in
preparation for sale.
The Grand Sport also features model-specific stabilizer bars,
stiffer springs, and revised shock absorbers compared with the
standard Corvette, giving it a more capable and responsive driving
feel.
Interior
Inside, the cabin features Ebony leather bucket seats with a
driver-focused cockpit layout. The car is equipped with Keyless
Access, cruise control, side airbags, dual-zone automatic climate
control, and a removable roof panel for open-air driving.
Interior upgrades include a Sony touchscreen infotainment system,
Kicker Audio speakers, and an aftermarket carbon fiber steering
wheel with a blue centering stripe. The steering wheel frames the
factory instrumentation, including a 200-mph speedometer,
tachometer, and supporting gauges for coolant temperature, oil
pressure, voltage, and fuel level.
The left seat cushion bolster is flattened, and a replacement
cushion is included with the car. Some steering wheel button
functions do not currently work. The removed factory steering wheel
and factory stereo are also included in the sale.
Engine & Performance
Power comes from the legendary 6.2L LS3 V8, upgraded with a revised
camshaft, AirAid intake system, long-tube exhaust headers, and a
custom powertrain ECU calibration. These upgrades sharpen the
personality of the LS3 and give this Grand Sport a more aggressive
sound and stronger performance feel.
The LS3 is one of Chevrolet's most proven modern performance
engines, known for its reliability, broad torque curve, and
excellent aftermarket support. With the cam, intake, headers, and
tuning, this Corvette has the right modifications to make it feel
and sound like a serious performance car.
The exhaust system is equipped with valved mufflers, allowing the
car to deliver a more aggressive tone when desired. The catalytic
converters have been removed from the exhaust system.
Drivetrain
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed automatic
transmission and a 2.73:1 limited-slip differential. The automatic
gearbox makes the car easy to drive in traffic while still
delivering strong acceleration when called upon.
The limited-slip rear differential helps put the LS3's power to the
ground, and the Grand Sport chassis gives the car the wide, stable
feel that makes these C6 models so enjoyable.
The Drive
This Grand Sport has the right feel for someone looking for more
than a stock Corvette. The cammed LS3, long-tube headers, intake,
tune, and valved mufflers give it the sound and attitude buyers
want, while the automatic transmission, climate control, removable
roof panel, and upgraded infotainment keep it comfortable and
usable.
The Forgestar wheels, wide Continental tires, upgraded lighting,
Grand Sport brakes, and factory wide-body stance give the car a
modern performance look with real capability to match.
With 42k miles, a clean Carfax report, spare parts, and tasteful
upgrades, this 2013 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport Coupe is a
strong choice for someone looking for a C6 that is already
modified, well-equipped, and ready to enjoy.
