1957 Chevrolet 3100 Restomod - LS Powered / Custom Chassis /
Independent Suspension / Corvette-Themed Build
This 1957 Chevrolet 3100 is a high-impact, frame-off custom build
finished in bright red over a full red custom interior. Built with
a strong Corvette-inspired theme, this 3100 blends classic Task
Force Chevrolet truck styling with modern LS power, an automatic
overdrive transmission, a full custom chassis, four-wheel
independent suspension, power steering, power four-wheel disc
brakes, air conditioning, and show-quality presentation
throughout.
This is far more than a restored classic pickup. It is a fully
reimagined restomod with modern performance hardware, a custom
leather interior, polished details, billet wheels, and a body-color
undercarriage that makes the truck just as impressive underneath as
it is on top.
Exterior
The red exterior gives this 1957 Chevrolet 3100 a bold, clean, and
timeless look. The classic wraparound windshield, sculpted hood,
chrome grille, chrome bumpers, Chevrolet badging, and rounded
stepside bed lines all remain true to the iconic 1957 Chevrolet
truck design.
The stance has been completely transformed with a lowered custom
chassis and 20-inch Billet Specialties wheels. The truck sits with
a modern street-rod attitude while still preserving the
unmistakable vintage Chevy pickup profile.
The bed is finished beautifully with polished wood, bright bed
strips, and a clean red-painted surround. The Chevrolet tailgate
lettering, polished hardware, and Corvette-themed detail inside the
bed add to the custom presentation.
Wheels & Stance
This 3100 rides on polished 20-inch Billet Specialties wheels,
giving the truck a modern, high-end look. The wheel package fills
the fenders perfectly and works well with the lowered stance.
Underneath, the truck is built on a full custom chassis with
four-wheel independent suspension, giving it a much more modern
ride and handling feel than a factory solid-axle pickup. The
undercarriage is finished in body color, making the bottom side of
the truck part of the show-quality build rather than an
afterthought.
Interior
Inside, the truck features a full Paul Adkins custom interior
trimmed in red leather. The bucket seats, custom center console,
door panels, carpeting, and dash treatment all come together to
create a high-end custom cabin that matches the exterior
perfectly.
The interior is equipped with leather bucket seats, a custom
console, Classic Instruments gauges, a tilt steering column, and
modern comfort features including heat and air conditioning. The
red-on-red presentation gives the truck a very cohesive,
show-quality look.
The cabin feels custom without losing the simple charm of a vintage
Chevrolet pickup. Every major surface has been upgraded, finished,
or refined to match the rest of the build.
Engine & Drivetrain
Power comes from an aluminum LS engine, giving this 3100 modern
Chevrolet performance, reliability, and drivability. The LS engine
is a perfect fit for a build like this, offering strong power,
smooth operation, and excellent parts support.
The engine bay is cleanly finished and features a modern intake
setup, polished accessories, and a tidy overall presentation.
Backing the LS is an automatic overdrive transmission, making the
truck easy to drive around town while also keeping it comfortable
at highway speeds.
This drivetrain gives the truck the kind of modern road manners
that make it much more usable than a stock 1957 pickup.
Chassis, Suspension & Brakes
The custom chassis is one of the biggest highlights of this build.
With four-wheel independent suspension, this 3100 has been
engineered to ride and handle more like a modern performance
vehicle than a vintage pickup.
It also features power steering and power four-wheel disc brakes,
both major upgrades that make the truck much easier and more
confidence-inspiring to drive. The body-color undercarriage, custom
exhaust, independent rear suspension, and detailed chassis
components show the level of work invested in the build.
The Drive
This 1957 Chevrolet 3100 delivers the kind of driving experience
that makes a quality restomod so desirable. The aluminum LS engine
provides modern power, the automatic overdrive transmission makes
cruising effortless, and the custom chassis with independent
suspension gives the truck a much more refined feel than a stock
classic pickup.
With power steering, power four-wheel disc brakes, heat and air
conditioning, a tilt column, custom leather interior, and polished
20-inch wheels, this truck is built to be shown and enjoyed.
The result is a beautifully executed Corvette-themed 3100 with
classic Chevrolet style, modern performance, and premium custom
craftsmanship throughout.
