This Excalibur Phaeton is styled after the 1928 Mercedes-Benz SSK. Each car was hand built by the Excalibur Motor Corporation in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The fiberglass body is mounted on a custom square tube frame, and sports all Chevrolet running gear and front suspension. This car is one of 122 produced in 1972.
It has a 454 CID V-8 Corvette engine, automatic trans, A/C, power steering, Camero front end, functional side pipes, removable hard top and side curtains. The A/C has been converted to the new R134 refrigerant and the radiator was re-cored to provide better cooling. It has new tires and battery. Everything works except for the dual air horns (broken wire?)
There is some cracking and chipping of the paint, primarily on the front fenders. Interior is in excellent condition.
