The 1968 Ford 8000 is a fairly significant tractor in Ford's history. It was one of Ford's first truly high-horsepower row-crop tractors aimed at large-scale farming in North America, and it helped Ford compete directly with bigger John Deere and International Harvester machines of the late 1960s. It was built from 1968-1972 in Highland Park, Michigan.
**This tractor has had a partial restoration, it still needs a new generator installed, lights installed and the transmission linkage repaired or replaced as it grinds when changing ranges.**
