This is a very nice **1979 Pontiac Trans Am 10th Anniversary Edition** (1969–1979 commemorative Limited Edition).
As you may know, Pontiac ceased production of the Pontiac 400 engine blocks in late 1977. The remaining inventory was used through 1978, and by 1979 only a limited number remained. Pontiac chose to pair these final 400 engines exclusively with the **Borg-Warner 4-speed manual transmission**, making them especially desirable today.
This particular car is one of just **1,817 produced** with the 400/4-speed combination.
The 10th Anniversary models came fully loaded from the factory, featuring:

* Unique silver and charcoal two-tone paint
* Special oversized hood bird and decals
* Turbo cast aluminum wheels
