Melanson Motors is proud to offer this 1966 Pontiac Tempest
Convertible. Beautifully restored as a GTO tribute, this original
Fontaine Blue car has all the right stuff. A proper GTO front
grille, hood and rear end are present. A strong running 400ci V8
sits under the hood paired to a TH400 Automatic transmission. The
engine features electronic ignition, exhaust headers and an
aluminum radiator. This Pontiac has power disc brakes and power
steering. The body is laser straight and the paint is only a few
years old. Water sanded and polished, the paint has amazing
reflection and gloss. Inside the car, proper GTO buckets and center
console are in place. New carpet has been installed. While
installing the carpet, photos were taken of the excellent, rust
free floors. The dash is in great condition with no cracks. The
gauges are functional and proper. A hurst dual gate, "his and hers"
shifter is present. The convertible top is manual operation and is
in great shape with no rips or tears. Underneath, this Pontiac is
great! Rust free and patch free with new dual exhaust. Magnaflow
stainless steel mufflers are installed. The car has a nice rumble
and sounds amazing. This convertible rides on 15" Pontiac Rally I
wheels. The tires are 235/60 BF Goodrich Radial T/A. A nicely
restored, excellent driving, top down, GTO tribute! For more
