This 1963 Jaguar MK X is a beautiful example of British luxury, featuring the iconic numbers-matching 3.8L inline-six engine equipped with triple SU carburetors. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission. I purchased this vehicle in 2024, and it has since undergone significant cosmetic and mechanical refreshes to ensure it remains a premier vintage saloon.
Exterior and Mechanicals: The car has been repainted in its striking and correct Quartz Metallic Blue, a color that truly highlights the MK X’s sleek, wide lines. The mechanicals have been thoroughly addressed with a complete tune-up, resulting in a car that starts smoothly and runs very well. It features the classic front badge bar, quadruple headlights, and chrome bumpers. While the chrome shows some wear consistent with its age, it remains in good overall shape.
Interior and Appointments: Inside, the cabin offers the peak of 1960s luxury, including power windows, power-assisted steering, and the signature burl wood picnic tables for rear passengers. During my ownership, the wood dash has been repaired, and all damaged carpeting has been replaced, greatly improving the interior presentation.
Areas for Improvement: While this Jaguar is a real crowd pleaser at shows and presents very well, it is a strong #3 car with a few minor projects remaining for the next owner:
This is a fantastic opportunity to own a well-sorted, eye-catching Jaguar MK X that is priced to sell. It comes with a clean title and represents a strong value for a collector or enthusiast looking for a classic that can be enjoyed immediately while finishing the final touches.
