DOCS This 1968 Pontiac GTO is painted in its factory color Meridian
Turquoise, code K. The paint has a nice glossy clear coat finish.
Looking down both sides it is straight. All of the chrome and trim
is either new or in nice shape. The front grill and hide away
headlights are in great shape and work as they should. The Endura
front bumper is nice and has nice fitment. The rear bumper has been
rechromed. The stainless around the front and rear windows are nice
and shiny. The weather stripping, fuzzies and window seals are all
good. It rides on a set of 14x7 Cragar SS wheels with Cooper Cobra
GT radial tires, 225/70/14. The interior has a nice set of black
bucket seats with a factory center console and a factory "his and
hers" shifter coming out of it. The dash has been all reconditioned
with new lenses and a new dash pad. It comes with a desirable hood
tach, power steering, power front disc brakes and a gauge cluster
below the dash. It also has front seatbelts, new carpet and
headliner, door panels, window cranks and a set of Pontiac floor
mats. In the engine compartment you will find a period correct 400
cubic inch engine, engine casting number 9790071, that was
completely rebuilt, original exhaust manifolds and a 4-core
aluminum radiator, chrome valve covers and air cleaner, new wiring
harness Upgrades include: a new chrome plated power brake booster
with new dual chrome master cylinder. The firewall, inner fender
wells and bottom of hood are painted and have a satin black finish.
The undercarriage looks like all clean metal with no rust issues or
patches. There are new body bushings, brake lines and fuel lines.
It features a 3:55 rear end, newer shocks and a dual exhaust that
runs all the way out the back with its correct style trumpet tips.
It also has a new gas tank, straps and sending unit. The trunk is
clean. It has a light coat of spatter paint, spare tire with
factory steel wheel, trunk mat and new trunk weather stripping.
This is one great looking GTO with nice options for a great price!
