This 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT Cummins is a super nice, clean, 2
owner truck that spent its life in Arizona and Montana pretty much
its whole life. The last year was spent in Michigan and the truck
was driven occasionally. This truck has been extremely well cared
for and has a lot of upgrades. We have the original window sticker
and sales order. The body on this truck is super clean. The Flame
Red Clearcoat paint appears to be all original and it looks
excellent. All of the chrome and trim is in excellent original
condition. The bed was Line-Xed when new and it also has a Tonneau
Cover on it. The underside is exceptionally nice as you can see in
our picture gallery and there are no rust issues with this
truck.
The interior is also in excellent original condition. The seats,
carpet, headliner, door panels, dash, and dash bezel are all
excellent. The headlights, taillights, brake lights, and turn
signals are all working. The gauges all work. It has tilt wheel and
working cruise control. It has working power windows and power
locks. It has working power mirrors and working power driver seat.
The horn and windshield wipers work. It has working heat and AC and
a common problem was addressed for these trucks as all of the HVAC
blend doors and actuators have been replaced. It has an aftermarket
boost/egt gauge. It also has an aftermarket stereo system with
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as a backup camera.
Mechanically this truck is top notch and it runs and drives
excellent!! The engine is the 5.9L Cummins I6 H.O. Turbo Diesel
that runs strong with no issues or red flags. It has a Banks
Monster Full Exhaust, Smarty Jr Tuner, and AFE Intake. Everything
else is stock. The transmission is the 48RE 4 Speed Automatic that
shifts excellent. It has had a deep aluminum pan since new. In the
last year the transmission was serviced with a fluid change, the
bands adjusted, and an upgraded valve body. HTS transmission did
the work and they said it looked great inside. It is mated to the
np271 transfer case and the 4WD works like it should. The rear axle
is the AAM 11.5 with 3.73 gears and a factory limited slip and an
aluminum differential cover. The front axle is a 9.25 with 3.73
gears. In the last year the truck was leveled and had all new
shocks installed. New 35 Inch Mickey Thompson Baja tires were also
installed at that time on the factory rims. You can't go wrong with
this truck!!
