1963 Corvette Convertible
The 1963 Corvette Convertible launched the second-generation (C2)
Corvette "Sting Ray," a ground-up redesign that brought dramatic
new styling and major chassis upgrades-helping elevate the Corvette
into a more serious sports car.
Influenced by earlier Sting Ray concept and racing themes, the
all-new design gave the Corvette its iconic "midyear" look. As the
open-top model in the first-year C2 lineup, the convertible shared
the same redesign and performance focus that defined the 1963
launch.
