Classic Car Addict is proud to present this 1961 Chevrolet Impala
Bubble Top for sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom. The Chevrolet
Impala Bubble Top represents one of the most desirable and visually
striking body styles of the early 1960s. Known for its sweeping
roofline, thin pillars and open hardtop profile, the 1961 model
year perfectly captures Chevrolet's transition into a more refined
yet performance-oriented era.
The car was finished by the factory in Ermine White and was
refinished in 2020 with a high gloss refinish with black accents.
Styling incorporates chrome bumpers with guards, bright trim and
headlight surrounds, a bubble-top roof, quad headlights, antenna,
and a recessed tail panel.
The cabin houses a front bench seat as well as a rear bench that
are upholstered in red and white vinyl and cloth joined by
color-coordinated door panels. The carpet and headliner are in
excellent shape. Appointments include vent windows, bright trim
accents, manual-crank windows, and a Retro-styled AM/FM radio with
auxiliary input. The two-spoke steering wheel frames a horizontal
120-mph speedometer, an analog clock, a gauges indicating coolant
temperature and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 51K
miles.
The 348ci V8 breathes through a four-barrel carburetor and features
the orange engine block. Power is delivered through the rear wheels
through a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission. The underside
was restored and has the factory frame and suspension. Power
steering and power front disc brakes enhance confidence and
comfort, making the car equally suited for cruising or extended
road use.
The clean body lines, bright chrome trim and signature Bubble Top
silhouette give it immediate presence whether parked or in motion.
