Vehicle Description

INTRODUCTION: This Super Chevy magazine feature car received a complete high end body-off-frame, show quality restoration built with one goal in mind: winning trophies while still being able to hit the streets and enjoy. The builder was at a car show contemplating his next project when he overheard someone say, "You can't swing a dead cat without hitting a Camaro." Right then and there, he decided he wanted to build something different and he absolutely did.

EXTERIOR: What a unique and amazing looking car- there's simply not another one like it! Those giant body panels have been worked absolutely smooth and laser straight. The emblems, trim, marker lights, door handles, and even the trunk lock have all been shaved for an ultra clean look. Without a vinyl top, the body becomes one giant red mirror, and the paint is polished like glass. Of course, the bumpers were rechromed, and the doors open remotely for an extra custom touch. The jambs are slick, the weatherstrips were replaced, and the doors shut with the feel of a new car. Thanks to the air ride suspension and digital controller inside, you can dial in the stance exactly how you want it. It's all sitting on a fantastic looking set of Devious wheels; 18s in front and 20s in back wrapped in performance Pirelli tires that complete the look perfectly.

INTERIOR: Stitch by Stitch did an incredible job creating this custom interior. Not only is the design outstanding, but the workmanship is equally impressive. They claim only the highest quality cowhides were used, and they must have gone through several because just about everything is wrapped in soft leather. The seats, side panels, even the plastic seat back and lower covers are upholstered in leather. They even wrapped the seat belt retractor covers in leather. The custom sculpted door panels are fully leather wrapped, and the dash pad is upholstered to match. The seats are extremely comfortable, each featuring folding armrest cushions, and the front seat is power operated. Down on the floor is premium German weave carpet with matching mats. And don't let the big shifter sticking through the floor fool you- that's an automatic, not a stick shift. The stereo system is fully integrated with speakers molded into the door panels and rear shelf, along with tweeters blended throughout the interior. It also features a deluxe steering wheel on a tilt column. First class, baby!

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Right here is something very special: a Larry Mollicone built 530 big block (look him up) pumping out an incredible 709 horsepower and 685 lbs of torque! Built to perform, it features 4-bolt mains, a stroked Kings crankshaft, Comp solid lifter cam, roller rockers, Dart aluminum heads, a smoothed aluminum intake, giant dual-feed carburetor, electronic ignition, and coated headers. It's also loaded with premium features including air conditioning, power steering, and a Hydroboost power brake system with a Wilwood master cylinder. An upgraded Newport Engineering wiper motor has been installed along with a remote oil filter, and a Powermaster alternator. It runs cool thanks to an aluminum radiator paired with a polished overflow bottle. The engine bay itself is beautifully detailed with a smoothed firewall and slick red paint on all the metal surfaces and polished hardware throughout. It's a beauty and a beast!

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Whoa, look what we have here! The trunk compartment is completely boxed and upholstered with a big emphasis on showcasing the custom stereo system. It features massive Kicker subwoofers with color matched grilles, along with matching Kicker amplifiers mounted neatly into the floor. Open the forward compartment and you'll find the stereo unit and CD changer tucked away cleanly inside. Each side compartment houses a gel battery along with additional stereo equipment. Under the trunk lid and in the jamb, the paint is just as slick and glossy as the rest of the car. Even the trunk itself opens remotely from the key fob, adding another custom touch to this impressive setup.

UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame during the restoration, and the underside was fully rebuilt, detailed, and upgraded. The clean, solid metal floors are painted gloss red, while the chassis and suspension components are finished in black for a sharp contrast. Up front, it has reinforced control arms, rebuilt steering, gas shocks, and an Air Ride Technologies air ride system. In back, it is also upgraded with air ride, gas shocks, a Panhard bar, rear sway bar, and disc brakes at all four wheels. It has a fully custom SpinTech stainless exhaust system with 3-inch oval pipes tucked up neatly, exiting through turned-down tips. The fuel system was replaced and includes a sump, fuel pump, and inline filter. Looking up at the motor, it has a high-torque starter, extra capacity finned oil pan, and a skid plate for protection. It also has a matching finned flywheel cover, Turbo 400 automatic, custom 4-inch aluminum driveshaft, and a 12-bolt rear end with 3.36 posi gears and a finned aluminum cover.

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car we sell.

CONCLUSION: Anybody who looks closely at this car will immediately recognize this is not a cost cutting or sloppy build. It's refinement and craftsmanship in every aspect. I think most enthusiasts- especially the ones who truly know these cars- would agree it would cost at least double, maybe triple, what we're asking to duplicate it today. Here's your chance to own an exceptional build at a great value, and best of all, it's ready to enjoy right now!
