This 1967 Cadillac Coupe DeVille is a premier example of American
luxury, showing a remarkable 39,172 original miles. This is an
exceptionally accurate, low-mileage survivor that has been
meticulously maintained to preserve its "factory-fresh" feel. The
car was professionally repainted in its original color of Baroque
Gold Metallic (Code 43) in 2010, a finish that highlights the
beautiful metallic flake and currently shows incredibly under a
fresh coat of wax. The body is impressively straight, showing no
evidence of prior accident repairs. The car presents as a true time
capsule, right down to the functional door checks and a "T-3"
triangle headlight still in place-both strong indicators of the
car's low-mileage pedigree.

Mechanical & Maintenance History
Mechanical preservation has been a priority for this Cadillac, with
a comprehensive service history over the last decade. The original
429ci V8 remains in its highly original factory form, starting
easily and holding a smooth, quiet idle when warm. The transmission
was serviced in 2011, followed by new ball joints, spark plug
wires, and a voltage regulator in 2012. More recently, the
carburetor was rebuilt and the water pump was replaced in 2014,
while the starter was rebuilt in the last few years. While the car
was factory-equipped with Automatic Climate Control, the A/C
currently does not blow cold despite the compressor engaging; the
previous owner indicated a slow leak developed within the last two
years.
Interior & Exterior Features
The interior is in staggering condition, featuring the elegant
Covert Darien Cloth & Leather (Trim 340). The fabric remains taut,
the headliner is nice and tight, and the original carpets are in
excellent condition. This Cadillac is well-appointed with power
windows, power door locks, and a six-way power front seat, all of
which function great. The original radio and power antenna are
operational, though a modern digital radio has been discreetly
mounted in the glovebox. While the current vinyl top is black,
having been replaced prior to the 2010 repaint, we believe the
factory original top color was brown. We do note that the wiper
blades are due for replacement, and there are a couple of small
paint blisters that suggest minor localized rust, but the car
remains structurally superior.
Driving Dynamics
Driving this Coupe DeVille is a quintessential "floating" Cadillac
experience. It tracks straight, stops straight, and shifts through
the gears very well. There are no unwanted suspension rattles,
clunks, or road noises to speak of, thanks in part to the new
weather stripping around the vent glass and the overall mechanical
tightness of the chassis. Our "screwdriver poke test" of the
undercarriage confirmed that the floor pans and frame are
completely solid and well-preserved throughout. This is a rare
opportunity to own a well-documented, investment-grade Cadillac
that is ready for the open road.
