This impeccable 1956 Ford F100 Custom Cab went through an 18-month frame off restoration. This wasn’t just painted at a body shop but an actual tear down and build back just like she was off the showroom floor. Everything was rebuilt or replaced and finished in 2015. The gentleman in Montana who did the work only works on these 1956 F100s and 2 years surrounding. He only takes on one at a time and it took a year waiting to get it into his hands. Then 18 months later and you can see the painstaking perfection results. It has lived in a garage and babied ever since with just 825 miles since completion. This is a near concourse level restoration.
They decided to upgrade the 272 V8 to a 292 Y-block with dual exhaust that sounds beautiful coupled to a 3-speed on the tree manual transmission. It really gets up and moves and the dual exhaust sounds beautiful with a deep throaty sound. You can see this is a show condition example of the pinnacle year ’56 Ford truck. Under the hood, the interior, dash, gauges, steering wheel, wiring, powder coated wheels, etc. are all mint! She is painted in a Porsche Guards Red, has amazing power and drives/rides very smoothly.
This truck is in excellent condition and an easy turn-key and drive anywhere setup.
