We are proud to present this outstanding 1963 Corvette split window coupe. This frame-off restored car represents one of the most iconic American vehicles of all time. After all, does anyone overlook a red/red split window? It is in excellent condition throughout and retains its numbers-matching 327ci engine and 4-speed manual transmission.
Built in early January of 1963, this C2 received a multi-year nut-and-bolt restoration completed in 2026 with only 12 miles since completion. The fiberglass body was sanded down, any necessary repairs were made, and it was repainted its original code 923 Riverside Red. Note the excellent body gaps as shown in the pictures. All brightwork was updated along with emblems, bezels, and lenses. Same with rubber seals, weatherstripping, and window felts. It all makes for a Corvette that could pass for a new car. The chassis was completely restored as well and looks the part. The steel wheels have correct 1963 covers and are fitted with Goodyear radial tires.
All drivetrain components have been rebuilt starting with the numbers-matching 327ci engine. Originally an L75 300hp package, it has been dressed like an L76 on top and includes a modern carburetor with electric choke. An original style intake manifold, carb, and air cleaner are available if interested. The Borg Warner T10 4-speed transmission is also numbers-matching with an assembly date of 12-27-62 and matching VIN derivative. The rear end is a somewhat rare CJ code (3.08 Positraction) which was only available on 4-speed cars and is presumed original with a date of 11-2-62. This split window is also equipped with power steering and power brakes for easy driving.
The red vinyl interior has also been redone and retains a stock appearance throughout. Everything looks great including the seats, door panels, carpet, and dash pads. Be sure to see all the pictures! The speedometer, tach, gauges, dash lights, courtesy lights, horn, wipers, heater/defroster, AM/FM radio, and parking brake all work properly. So do the headlight motors and exterior lighting. The clock was rebuilt by The Clock Works and retains its original style movement.
Mid-year Corvettes have proven to be solid classic car investments with split window coupes leading the charge. This is one of the higher quality examples you will find with everything having been restored. It not only looks terrific but also has fresh mechanicals along with its original drivetrain. We are happy to provide additional photos or support video walkarounds / third party inspections as needed.
