Factory Dark Moss Green | Marti Report | Fully Restored
Lafontaine Classic Cars is proud to present this outstanding 1967
Ford Mustang Fastback Bullitt Tribute, finished in its
factory-correct Dark Moss Green over Black Decor interior. Widely
regarded as one of the most iconic body styles in Mustang history,
the 1967 Fastback combined sharper styling, increased performance
options, and more aggressive proportions making it one of the most
collectible early Mustangs on the market today.
This example is powered by a 302 ci V8, with a documented rebuild
from 2024! This V8 is paired to the highly desirable 4-speed manual
transmission and hurst competition shifter. Lightweight,
responsive, and unmistakably Ford, the 302 remains one of the most
beloved small-block V8s of the era and offers the ideal combination
of sound, reliability, and spirited performance.
According to the included Marti Report, this Mustang was built at
Metuchen and factory equipped with:
289-4V V8 engine ( upgraded to 302)
4-speed manual transmission
Dark Moss Green paint
Black Decor bucket seat interior
Power front disc brakes
Interior Decor Group
Heavy duty suspension
Sport Deck fold-down rear seat
AM radio
White sidewall tires
This Mustang underwent a complete documented restoration from 2023
to 2025, with invoices and photos included. The quality of the
restoration is evident immediately. The beautiful finish in Dark
Moss Green, is a color that looks elegant in the shade and
absolutely comes alive in the sun.
The chrome, stainless trim, and brightwork all present beautifully.
Underneath, the undercarriage is clean, detailed, and solid. The
dual exhaust system gives the rebuilt 302 the proper tone without
overpowering a conversation in the cockpit.
Inside, the cabin is exactly what enthusiasts hope to find. The
factory Deluxe gauge cluster with factory tachometer is a highly
desirable feature, while the Black Decor interior adds upgraded
trim touches throughout. The fold-down Sport Deck rear seat remains
one of the most sought-after options on any early Fastback,
offering added practicality and collector appeal.
Tasteful upgrades such as Retro Style Radio, power steering, and
power brakes greatly improve the experience and road manners while
preserving the cars classic personality.
The 1967 Fastback has earned its place as a blue-chip collector
Mustang for good reason. With timeless styling, iconic proportions,
consistent market demand, and a driving experience that remains as
exciting today as it was decades ago, these cars continue to
captivate enthusiasts and collectors alike. Adding to that
desirability is the unmistakable connection to the legendary movie
car driven by Steve McQueen, which helped cement the Dark Moss
Green Fastback as one of the most recognized and sought-after
Mustangs ever built. Well-restored, high-quality examples are
becoming increasingly difficult to find, while values for desirable
Fastbacks continue to trend upward.
If you are searching for a restored, factory-color, 4-speed
Fastback with the right options, strong provenance, and
unmistakable presence, this Mustang deserves serious
consideration.
