This E-type was completely restored approximately 10 years ago.
During the restoration, the E-type was uprated with the following
upgrades with the spirited driver in mind. The engine was removed
and completely rebuilt and the standard carburetors exchanged for a
triple Weber configuration, it received a spin on oil filter
conversion, full Stainless steel headers and exhaust system,
ignition system upgraded to electronic type, the original radiator
replaced with a performance aluminum type with additional auxiliary
electric cooling fan, uprated sport suspension handling kit, Wider
than standard wire wheels were fitted with modern radial tires, the
steering wheel has been changed to a smaller diameter Moto Lita
type, a matching wooden shit knob with Jaguar Coventry badge and
finally modern AM/FM radio. Since restoration, this E-type has
enjoyed one enthusiast/collector ownership on Long Island, NY,
where it has been used during the driving season and never in
inclement weather. It has always been serviced and maintained
regardless of use and to be ready for use at a moment?s notice. An
exceptional E-type for the driving enthusiast, it is a welcomed
addition for any vintage rally-tour, but also comfortable on the
concours lawn. Included with the Jag are its Black convertible top
boot, factory jack, knockoff hammer and original tool kit/roll.
