$12,995 Cruisin Classics is pleased to present this 1980 Chevrolet
Camaro Z28. This Camaro comes to us today wearing it''s original
white paint that's now in fair driver-quality condition
commensurate with the 112,634 actual miles on the car. There are
chips, small dings, scuffs, and some rust starting on the lower
doors and rear quarters. Contrasting the white paint is a factory
triple-Blue gradient stripe decal package in good condition. Up
front, this Z28 has an induction hood with a rear-facing functional
air induction scoop that opens at full-throttle. Ahead of the hood
is a molded urethane front clip with angular upper and lower
horizontal grilles flanked by round recessed headlights in black
buckets. Beneath is a wrap-around front spoiler with stripe decals.
From the side view, you'll find sporty fender scoops, rear fender
flares, a 3-piece decklid spoiler, body-color side mirrors,
color-keyed door handle inserts, bright hood and window trim, Z28
stripe decals, and 5-spoke factory-style wheels all wrapped in
white-letter BF Goodrich Radial TA's. It's easy to see why these
Camaros were so popular! Around back are clear taillight lenses and
a hidden gas fill at the center.
Lift the hood to reveal a largely stock engine bay. At the center
is what we believe to be the original 350ci 5.7 litre V-8
(factory-rated at 190hp and 280 lb/ft torque). It's topped off with
a stock intake, black Edelbrock valve covers, a 4-barrel
carburetor, and a cowl air cleaner assembly. The V-8 is mated up to
a 3-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear
wheels via a 10-bolt rear end. Exhaust flows through headers and
newer mufflers before exiting with a pleasing rumble. This Z28 is
also equipped with power steering and power front disc and rear
drum brakes.
Open the driver's door and check out the well-preserved deluxe Blue
cloth interior. The door panels combine blue vinyl, fabric, and
carpet and they're still in very good condition. The front buckets
and rear bench are covered in blur vinyl with blue cloth seating
surfaces and they look spectacular. Both the headrests and the door
panels share a tricolor blue striping accents that reiterate the
exterior stripe package. Between the front buckets is a center
console with a storage box/armrest, a shifter for the 3-speed
automatic, and a small storage slot. We did note that both of the
rear side panels are discolored from sun bleaching and they would
benefit from repainting or replacement. Ahead of the driver is a
4-spoke OEM Z28 steering wheel with a working horn on a tilt
column. The dash is crack-free blue vinyl with a black bezel for
the working speedometer, tachometer, and gauges. The odometer reads
12, 634, it has been rolled over once, and the title confirms that
112,634 is the actual mileage. To the drivers left are controls for
the working heater & fan, 2-speed wipers, and lights. To the right
there's a Sony AM/FM/CD stereo with removable faceplate that plays
through the dash speaker as well as two 6X9's on the rear package
tray. Inside the glovebox is a working courtesy light, an extra
stereo faceplate, and a thick folder of receipts that appear to
cover the entire lifespan of the car. Overhead is a tight blue felt
headliner with working dome light, and underfoot is what appears to
be the original blue pile carpet - a little faded, but in decent
condition and topped with carpeted logo floormats. Around back
you'll find a factory black carpeted trunk with a miniature spare
tire and an Audiovox AM/FM/8-track stereo with owners manual.
If you're looking for a cool classic Z28 Camaro that won't break
the bank, then you just found your car! This car is turn-key ready
to hit the road today and begin turning heads! This Z28 is not a
show car, bur it has a cool look, a really nice interior, and it's
an enjoyable car to drive. Give our friendly staff a call and let
us help you make this ride your own!
