The automotive press had nothing but positives to report about the Triumph Spitfire 1500 for 1974. It's nimble handling, 4-speed manual transmission and affordable entry level prices all played a part in the cars success. Our little Piniento Red car here has just 32,000 original miles. This car is very well kept and is an absolute pleasure to drive. The Chestnut interior appears to be all original and is in excellent condition. A modern Pioneer Super Tuner III sound system has been added and is perfect for cranking out the tune for Summer cruising. The car was treated to an all over respray at some point and still looks great. Under the hood is the original, numbers matching 1500 motor. The engine is all stock with the addition of an aluminum finned valve cover. This car is rust free and has been completely serviced including new tires.
