Offered here is a highly original and exceptionally well-preserved
1969 Chevrolet Corvette, a true 31,471-mile survivor that perfectly
captures the timeless appeal of the chrome-bumper C3 generation.
Originally finished in Monza Red from the factory, the car was
professionally repainted in striking Monaco Orange early on in its
life, giving it the bold appearance it carries today while still
maintaining its authentic vintage character. Around the same time,
a factory-style big block hood was also installed, adding to the
aggressive muscle car look that perfectly complements the car's
styling.
The older repaint still presents very well overall with an
excellent shine and true survivor character. As expected with an
older paintjob, it does show some minor nicks, scratches, and
imperfections here and there consistent with age and use, but
overall the car maintains a very attractive appearance and shows
extremely well for a driver-quality survivor. It's becoming
increasingly difficult to find untouched Corvettes like this that
haven't been heavily restored or modified.
Sitting on its original chrome rally wheels wrapped in brand new
BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires, the car has the perfect period-correct
stance and appearance.
Under the hood is the desirable 350ci V8 rated at 350 horsepower,
paired to a factory 4-speed manual transmission that delivers the
raw, engaging driving experience classic Corvettes are known for.
The car starts easily, runs strong, and shifts smoothly through all
gears. Equipped with power steering, power brakes, and power
windows, this Corvette offers an excellent balance of performance
and drivability. The original A/C compressor is still in place,
further supporting the car's originality, and a new exhaust system
has recently been installed that gives the car a deep, classic
muscle car sound.
Inside, the all-original black vinyl interior has been very well
preserved and remains a standout feature of the car. The original
gauges are all functioning properly, adding to the car's
authenticity and usability. The removable T-top roof panels are
included along with the original storage covers, making this an
excellent car for weekend cruising and local shows.
