Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/Austin is very happy to offer
this ground pounding 1967 Dodge Coronet 500 R/T Tribute. The
handsome straight lines of these big 2-door cars have really aged
well. They capture the '60s almost nicely, with dynamic, angular
lines and wonderful detailing they wear it proudly. This Coronet
has been beautifully refinished by Vrzalik's Automotive in San
Antonio in Larkspur blue and rechromed trim giving the car a new
feel but classic look. Under the hood you'll notice the 318CID V-8
has been replaced by a 440CID V-8 backed with a smooth shifting
Torque Flight 3-speed automatic transmission giving you plenty of
on demand power for the open highways. The engine has several
upgrades that include long-tube headers flowing through the dual
exhaust with electric cut outs, Edelbrock intake, Holley Sniper EFI
system, Borgeson Steering box, MSD Distributor with MSD blast,
aluminum Engineered Cooling Products radiator and Mopar Performance
valve covers. The 8 Posi-trac rear end has been upgraded with
3.92 gears built by CT Thrash. The front bucket seats have been
redone by Best Interiors in a nice bright white vinyl with
contrasting black door panels, carpet, headliner along with the new
dashboard. Driver amenities include a center console, a
floor-mounted shifter, updated LED lighting throughout, power
steering, 4-wheel power disc brakes and a Vintage Air system with
cold ac and hot heat. The car has a nice, raked stance and rides on
a super cool 15" Vision Legend 5's in Gunmetal gray with a machined
lip wrapped in raised white letter 235/70s radial T/A tires with a
full-sized spare in the trunk! A wood-rimmed three-spoke steering
wheel frames a 150-mph speedometer with auxiliary gauges that
include coolant temperature, fuel level, an 8k rpm tachometer and
alternator charge. Below the radio also has additional gauges of
oil pressure, vacuum pressure, and a Holley EFI screen monitor.
Beautifully refinished and a ton of fun to drive, this Mopar is the
kind of car that we all want in our garages!
